Galleries & Spaces

Main Gallery (approx. 3200 sq. ft.): an environmentally controlled museum quality exhibition space poised to host some of the world’s finest historical and contemporary art exhibitions

University Gallery (approx. 1600 sq. ft.) a generously proportioned second gallery space for Canadian and international exhibitions

Student Gallery (approx. 625 sq. ft.) a space to showcase advanced student work or curatorial projects that have proven their merit and that have attained a professional level of excellence

New Media Wall (18 x 46 inch screens mounted in a grid pattern of 6 (horizontal) x 3 (vertical) panels in the glassed in entrance colonnade): Toronto’s first arts dedicated New Media Wall, visible from the outside of the building toward Victoria St and from Yonge St at Gould. Home to avant- garde new media programming.

Great Hall (approx. 2500 sq. ft.) exquisitely designed reception, conference and screening area with a 16 ft. pull down screen with HD projection, seating for ca. 150 persons, or inviting open spaces for ad hoc exhibits and VIP receptions

Research Centre (approx. 1600 sq. ft.) world class centre of excellence for the academic study of photography, offering unique photojournalist and fine art collections and the assistance of highly trained professional staff
